Episode 89: Amiga Power With Cam Winstanley

There were several Commodore Amiga magazines available to buy in the 90’s but Amiga Power was seen as the king. Another great magazine from Future Publishing featured some of the best magazine writers which could easily be seen when you read the magazine.

In this episode Paul chats to Cam Winstanley who started on the magazine at the end of 1992 and worked on it until it ended in 1996. He shares some of his experiences of starting out as a writer and working alongside Mark Ramshaw and Stu Campbell and how he later became editor.

We discuss some of his favourite Amiga games including titles by The Bitmap Brothers and what made Amiga Power so popular even to this day. We hope you enjoy the show.
